Sex, Crimes, and Money - Epstein, Trump, and You're Being Distracted From Reality
Meanwhile we're letting the world burn, the rule of law has been dismantled, the USA is turning into a fascist autocracy, we're losing everything everywhere.

The only pertinent questions are (1) whether the Epstein files or any other sources show that Trump committed any thus-far unrevealed crimes, and (2) whether Trump profited financially from his association with Epstein. Everything else is a waste of our precious time.
As to Question (1): If any one of the young women trafficked, abused, or raped in Epstein’s milieu were harmed by Trump, she could file a criminal complaint in the relevant federal district court. This brave act would take a support network, great intestinal fortitude, financial support, a lot of time, a low to moderate expectation of success, and a protection network.
As to Question (2): As of now, I have found no publicly available evidence of direct financial transactions between Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump, such as payments, investments, loans, or business partnerships, documented through legal records, investigative journalism, or official reports.
Senate investigations led by Senator Wyden are probing high-profile financial flows into Epstein’s network—such as Leon Black’s $170 million, portions of which reportedly funded Epstein’s operations—but Trump has not been implicated in those finance-related inquiries. The DOJ’s planned interrogation of Ghislaine Maxwell may bring new disclosures—but current public awareness shows no credible financial link involving Trump thus far.
Epstein was a convicted sexual predator. Trump is a convicted rapist. They partied together. The media houndpack are not going to stop running, barking, and yowling after the Epstein files, who’s in them, who’s a pedophile, why don’t you tell us. Ditto some of the GOP, both elected and hoi polloi, because on June 2, 2024, candidate Trump replied to Fox New’ interviewer Fox News' Rachel Campos-Duffy question "Would you declassify the Epstein files?" with, "Yeah, yeah, I would."
That clip was circulated widely online, including by the Trump War Room -- the social media account of Trump's campaign operation. The account posted it to X with the caption: "President Trump says he will DECLASSIFY the 9/11 Files, JFK Files, and Epstein Files." On February 21, 2025, Attorney General Pam Bondi, then cited Trump’s directive and mentioned a “client list” “sitting on my desk” for review.
Last Monday, Bondi announced that there was no Jeffrey Epstein “client list” and no evidence to charge other individuals in connection with the case.
Release the Hounds!
MAGAns believed that there is an Epstein client list, that it contains the names of prominent Democrats in government, and that it proves their thesis that the government is run by a “Deep State” of Democratic elite pedophiles and their civil service enablers.
The Epstein files also contain Trump’s name, but that is very old news (see “client list,” above).
A significant excerpt from the truly conscientious report by Mother Jones writer Leland Nally:
The truth is that the elite world that Epstein ascended into, the one I tapped into by way of the black book, is populated with hordes of loathsome, boring, untalented people living their bumbling, idiotic lives while just so happening to wield some share of the preposterous global bounty that he and the rest were after. For all the mystery surrounding Epstein’s fortune, its existence is hardly more inscrutable than the wealth of any of his other billionaire peers. He earned it the same way they all did, which is to say precisely not at all.
This wasn’t some masterful hack into the global aristocracy. It’s what everyone does. It’s what the whole thing is. There is no scam here. It’s grifters grifting grifters all the way down.
Trump was re-elected despite his being a convicted rapist. So his moral reputation is not on the line. If there is no evidence of Trump financial transactions with Epstein, given that Trump is a convicted rapist, what is/are the bases of Trump's reversal on the Epstein files?
Trump thrives by controlling scandal—when he’s the one telling the story. He thinks, and the media reinforce the belief, that the fantasy world in which he threatens and bullies strengthens his image. Losing control of the narrative means some other Chaos Agent is in charge.
But thus far, Trump has been granted impunity, both by the public who elected him and by the Supreme Court. And if Trump is immune to prosecution, contemptuous of Congress, and unburdened by loyalty, then what real consequence could be inside the Epstein files that stops him cold?
The Epstein files are believed to contain materials that were used for blackmail, and possibly shared or duplicated by foreign intelligence agencies (e.g. Mossad, FSB, MI6)
If Trump appears in any such material—and foreign actors possess copies—it creates leverage over Trump in real-time diplomacy, security, and deals.
That’s not hypothetical: Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, had deep Israeli intelligence ties, and Epstein's island had recorded bedrooms and hidden cameras, confirmed by FBI raid reports.
In the United States, truth alone does not lead to accountability.
If the Epstein files contain Trump crimes, they may never lead to prosecution—because at present, our system of justice is structurally gagged.
The only real threat left is not legal—it’s narrative.
If the full Epstein archive becomes public, Trump could be forever cast in the historical record as part, if only audience, of an international trafficking and blackmail operation.
That won’t jail him. But it might break the myth—and shift what comes after.
The Epstein files don’t just threaten Trump’s personal safety or historical legacy—they neutralize his functional power as a geopolitical actor.
Foreign leaders are not moral crusaders; they are pragmatists. If Trump is exposed through the Epstein files, they will not act out of outrage, but out of opportunity.
Once he becomes radioactive, the question isn't if they'll move—it's how fast and how far.
Foreign negotiations will be compromised if Trump becomes known as subject to blackmail.
His personal business leverage - property, loans, trademarks - will become exposed.
His, and our, moral high ground will be erased.
Without the fear he projects, tariffs are just taxes. They’ll no longer be seen as credible. Other nations, BRIC nations, are increasingly attractive.
Without the belief that he controls outcomes, he’s just noise.
